West Coast Pawn Shop offers CONCEALED CARRY CLASSES with a NRA Certified Instructor. Whether this is your first time buying a gun or just haven’t got around to getting your concealed permit; this is the class for you. Unlike many of the classes offered in the area, we are NRA certified. This class will introduce participants to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. In this class you will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. This course will also help prepare you for participation in other NRA courses.

What are the benefits of getting a CWP?

Well, what aren’t the benefits of getting a CWP is the question you should be asking. Just some of the benefits include not having to complete the three day wait when purchasing a hand gun. You will also be able to have your pistol on you at nearly all times. Getting a CWP does not mean you are exempt from completing a background check when purchasing a gun. Our classes fill up fast. I absolutely give this place five stars and would give them 10 if I was able. Tyler is a great guy along with everyone that works there they do their best to help you and stay right with you and not rush you at the same time for anything. They take their time and explain everything you need to know and they love for you to ask questions they will be glad to answer. I took my concealed carry class with Tyler post it went wonderful he is an excellent instructor people I urge you to go check him out and get your concealed carry.

Best Pawn shop in Lakeland. Great prices – funny atmosphere. Took the CCW class and the instructor was very informative and thorough with gun knowledge.
