Personal Life Coaching

In my one on one life coaching sessions, we will explore areas in your life where you would like to make changes, but for some reason have felt stuck. Life coaching sessions are based on the premise that you are a healthy individual, fully capable of making powerful and positive decisions for your life. With focused attention on your key areas, you will be able to recognize patterns that may not be serving you anymore and be able to see more clearly the choices that will be for your best and highest purpose.

Massage

Massage sessions can provide a space to relax, process, and allow your body to give more information on the balance of your life. Massage has been found to improve circulation, joint range-of-motion and flexibility. It can reduce many common ailments such as stress, muscle tightness, aches and pains – even anxiety and depression.

This is your time to relax and escape.

Myofascial Release Treatments

Myofascial Release is a treatment that focuses on the release of fascial restrictions in the body. John Barnes, in his article, “Myofascial Release – The Wave of the Future” gives a great definition of fascia:

“Fascia is a tough connective tissue which spreads throughout the body in a three-dimensional web from head to foot without interruption. Trauma, posture or inflammation can create a binding down of fascia resulting in excessive pressure on nerves, muscles, blood vessels, osseous structures and/or organs.”

As fascia releases from old trauma, the body can respond with better range of motion, better function, and an increase in mental and emotional clarity.

Workshops

Workshops provide a space for us to explore and discuss life in a nurturing and safe setting. Plenty of time is set aside to relax and allow ourselves to breathe in settings that are healing, rejuvenating, and away from our everyday life pressures. We have many options including group discussions, journaling, connecting with nature, and yoga, to name a few. Workshops can be tailored for any group, including families.

Balance

Balance on all levels — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually — is imperative for a joyful life. Balance is also a process that we are always adjusting as new opportunities come in and old patterns are moved out. This balance provides the space to live the life we are born to live, reaching our fullest and most satisfying potential. Learning this from a young age, especially in our nuclear families, we lay a firm foundation for success throughout the rest of our lives.

Leah is the founder of Rejuvenate! Bodyworks. She has been in the massage and bodywork industry for fifteen years and has experienced many aspects of themassage field, which gives her a very well-rounded view and plenty of experience to meet any client’s needs. Rejuvenate! Bodyworks is now in its seventh year of operation, having opened in August of 2008, and continues to grow as a center for healing. It provides therapeutic massage for many, including the many runners and athletes in the area.

Absolutely give her 5 stars. Her studio and personality will start to relax you even as you just enter. And seriously, she is able to discover the areas your body is out of sync with itself, and she has a wide range of techniques to help correct those areas. Her ongoing pursuit of excellence and education makes her worth every penny and more. Be aware, it may take some time to get an appointment with her if you are a new person for her. Although her price is a bit more than the average massage, it is NOT an average massage that you get. And because she knows that it takes more than once to correct some areas of tension, there is a discount if you are coming back regularly.

Leah is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever had work on me. She is personable,
professional, caring and thorough. She discovers areas that need attention and works to resolve the issue. I only wish that I lived closer to Lakeland so I could go more often!
