Hansel & Gretel Preschool

Hansel & Gretel Preschool is a faith-based program that provides child care for children from birth to school age kids. We strive to provide a fun, safe, helpful, home-like environment for all of our children who attend our daycare center.

The purpose of our childcare program is to ensure quality day care for the children in our facility while connecting families with the resources and education needed to continue quality care within their homes.

At Hansel & Gretel Preschool in St Cloud, Florida, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants, toodlers, pre-k and our after school age children. We offer the following programs from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

INFANTS & TODDLERS

Our Infant & Toddlers Program gives your children the individualized care and attention that will nurture a strong foundation for development. At this early stage of development, we provide an environment where each child is loved in a clean, safe environment that provides growth for your child. The Toddler Program will focus is on building language, creativity, fine and gross motor skills and social interaction.

PRESCHOOL

At Hansel & Gretel Preschool we use the government approved HIGHREACH curriculum for pre-school age children. HighReach is committed to creating high quality, developmentally appropriate learning materials that allow teachers to easily facilitate a creative, integrated, hands-on learning experience for the whole child. The HighReach program provides a balanced program that addresses the whole child – social, emotional, physical, and intellectual.

Our program also provides children with a large variety of individual, small and large group activities. We also provide a structured learning environment enabling a child to have a strong foundation. We encourage the development of small muscle coordination through puzzles, painting, and cutting. Large muscle coordination is developed through age appropriate outdoor play.

VOLUNTARY PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM (VPK)

At Hansel & Gretel we offer the voluntary Pre-kindergarten Program (VPK). The VPK program is designed to prepare four year olds for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. The VPK program is FREE for eligible children regardless of family income. Our VPK classes run from 9.00am to 12 noon. For further information, please contact the school.

BEFORE/ AFTER SCHOOL

At Hansel & Gretel we offer Before and After School programs. We provide additional learning time, supervised activities in a clean and safe environment. We also provide transportation to a number of local schools.

SUMMER PROGRAMS/ FIELD TRIPS

Hansel & Gretel provides children with a summer program that incorporates exciting daily activities and fun field trips.
