Dr. Kenneth Beer is one of only a few surgical and cosmetic dermatologists to earn Board certification in both dermatology and dermatopathology (microscopic study of the skin). He completed residency in dermatology at University of Chicago, and fellowship training in dermatopathology at the same institution. At University of Miami, he serves as voluntary Assistant Professor, and he serves as a Clinical Associate in Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

He is a member of Allergan’s National Training Centers for Botox and Juvéderm, as well as a trainer for Restylane, Sculptra, and Perlane dermal fillers; Xeomin and Dysport neuromodulators; and several medical lasers. Dr. Beer serves as a consultant for a number of manufacturers of dermatologic products and medical devices.

Dr. Beer is the author of numerous textbook chapters, scientific articles, and other publications on topics related to dermatology and cosmetic surgery. His work has helped to advance the field of dermatology. He has earned recognition as one of the top experts in Botox in the United States. His insight appears frequently in dermatology journals such as Dermatologic Surgery, and Cosmetic Dermatology. Skin and Aging magazine publishes his monthly “Cosmetic Clinic” segment for dermatologists. He also serves on the editorial board of several dermatology journals.
