Bio

Dr. Aharoni is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and fellowship trained in gastroenterology. Upon completion of his residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, he was asked to remain as chief resident of the program where he gained further experience and critical leadership skills. He then continued at Maimonides, which was an affiliate of the prestigious Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, to complete his fellowship training in gastroenterology. He currently practices and treats all conditions that fall in the spectrum of gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Aharoni has special interest in the treatment of chronic liver disease, advanced colorectal neoplasm using EMR technique and RadioFrequency Ablation of Barrett’s Esophagus (a precancer condition of esophagus related to acid reflux disease).
