My name is Steven Foster. I am seeking experienced family law counsel in Polk County to review and potentially represent me in a high-conflict divorce and child custody matter currently pending in Bartow.

I am legally married but separated and share one minor child, my daughter Eleanor. Following our separation in early 2024, my daughter lived primarily with me for approximately one year, during which I provided her day-to-day care. There have been no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or endangerment involving me.

After issues arose between the parties, the situation escalated into contested custody proceedings. Key issues include unilateral school enrollment decisions made without my involvement, repeated interference with my parenting time, blocked communication with my child, and ongoing restrictions that currently prevent me from direct contact with her. I have also been subject to repeated law enforcement wellness checks and a DCF home visit, all of which resulted in no adverse findings.

There is also a related criminal matter that is impacting the family case, including communication restrictions. I am pursuing separate criminal counsel, but I am seeking family law representation focused on protecting my parental rights, addressing potential parental alienation concerns, and evaluating appropriate custody and time-sharing options moving forward.

I do not recommend she was a guardian at Litem for my divorce case and lied on stand about my ex husband’s sex offense crimes so he could possibly get shared custody. Glad the judge still made a ruling to protect my children.
She was buddy, buddy with his attorney when she should have been non bias.
I would not even mark a star.
I have reported to bar with proof of documentation. Please check throughly on who you pick. My children almost had to spend time with someone who beat them daily, besides me, and he hurt an innocent little girl.
