I’m sure like many of the negative reviews I read prior to signing a contract with blue haven, they will respond with every excuse possible to defend or say I’m not telling the truth. And let’s be honest. Customers with good/average experiences usually don’t bother to review something. And of course bad experiences want the the world to know. So we all take reviews with a grain of salt.

The entire experience was horrible. And if I could go back and do it again, I’d pick anyone over blue haven. Honestly, idk if I would be happy if I got a full refund at this point the experience was so bad and the work so crappy.

Day one the salesman Nick lied straight to my face. He claimed they didn’t have any subs exact the electricians who supposedly only did work for blue haven. That’s a bold face lie. Basically nothing was done by a blue haven employee, and rarely was the project manager ever there to even check on things.

The project manager when he was there seemed over his head. Made promises that never came true about the work. And failed to communicate with us, blue haven and the subs.

There were so many problems along the way. Finally after having to have the pool replastered(which we had to fight for) due to poor quality. We still have a low quality pool.

The new plaster although 100 times better than the first attempt, still looks like crap. And now my drain are full of plaster from the replaster. My grout and tiles look like crap. The pool electrical panels can’t fully open without hitting each other due to poor placement, my house is covered in concrete/gunite dust, my umbrella sleeves are not level so my umbrella leans and the list goes on and on. There really is so much to go into that I don’t want to even think about.

I’m sure blue haven will say how much of pain of a customer I was. Shoot one of their employees even told me to my face that he tells everyone who comes to my house to do their best because I’m a “pain in the ass customer”. But all I asked for is what I was promised. And I didn’t get it.

Ultimately after they fixed the last leak I’ve stopped speaking to them because I’m honestly more tired of dealing with them than they are with me. And I’m tired of having to fix things they mess up when they come. I’ve debated even writing this review because I never want anything to do with their business again. But I want people to be educated.

Idk who is a good pool builder in this area. But based off my experience with blue haven idk how they are still in business. Goodluck to anyone in the market. I hope you have a better experience then we did and receive a better product no matter who you hire.
