Blue Gator Tiki Bar & Restaurant is located on the banks of the beautiful Withlacoochee River. The Blue Gator restaurant and tiki bar in Dunnellon, Florida is the place to go for riverfront dining and live entertainment. Adjoining Angler’s Resort, our family-friendly restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our friendly wait staff will take great care of you while you’re here to enjoy our full menu of fresh seafood and burgers as well as our “Blue Gator Bites” our tasty authentic alligator appetizer.

Long time customers, will not be coming back because of the terrible service. We called ahead to see if they were busy because on the weekends it can get kind of crazy. The hostess said it was actually really slow, (I hate to have seen it if it was busy) so we decided since it was our favorite restaurant in Dunnellon we would go. We were seated right away and that’s when the terrible service started. We waited 15 minutes to get service, while three waitresses were standing behind us chit-chatting and doing nothing. I finally asked the three waitresses if we could get some help and they all said in a minute. We waited for another 5 minutes before our waitress came to us and when she got there she had a terrible attitude and was sighing while talking to us like we were out of line for asking for help. We ordered drinks and several appetizers which came in a reasonable time, although we never received one of our appetizers and finally told her to take it off the bill. Then it took an hour after that to get our entrees, sliders and three orders of grouper fingers. when they finally came my wife had a long black hair in her meal. As a table we spent $190 and probably would have spent more on drinks and beer if our waitress would have checked on us more than every 30 minutes. We got to Blue Gator around 2 o’clock and we left around 5 o’clock. So for 3 hours we dealt with a waitress with a poor attitude, long waits, and limited drinks. This is probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced in a dining establishment.

Call ass place! Been there a few times and had a blast every time. These boys know how to party in Marion County.
