Meet The Owners of Benson’s – Debbie & Ron Lange

I have lived in Lakeland Since 1975 when I moved here to attend Florida Southern College. I am married and My husband Ron and I own Benson’s together. We both have a love and a compassion for animals.

We’ve rescued 4 dogs and 1 cat that were all strays and abandoned. I love the phrase “Who rescued who?” as they are very much a part of our family. The popularity of our treats has been huge and is growing.

I absolutely love Benson’s and so do my two pups! I love that there is such a variety of food and treats that I can’t find in box stores. I also think it’s very cool that they are always coming up with new ideas and flavors for their homemade cookies. My dogs especially adore the freeze dried raw section. Excited to see what’s in store!

Fantastic store, staff are great. Service is truly customer oriented, if there is something you want or need and it is not stocked they will order it for you. We need to keep stores like this open so need to patronize them.

Chick Liks are my dog’s favorite treats. Ever since I got a sample at the Bartow craft show years ago, this has been the treat of choice in our house!

Benson’s Canine Cookies is a gem in the canine world. With fresh baked treats, chicklick’s, shampoo, and toy’s galore; this is a puppy, and dog, wonderland. Pam, and her wonderful associates, gave me so much direction when it came to our newly inherited doggie. I was given all the tools and knowledge to make great decisions on shampoo (with conditioner added), food supplements, treats, and toys. My new little addition, Bristol, gobbled up her food for the 1st time in 3 days, enjoyed her bath time, got bite sized healthy treats for her potty training, and is feeling so much better. Thank you Benson’s Canine Cookies for helping Bristol feel better and be happy. You have a customer for life!
