The Siesta Key Drum Circle is a community event that has been a tradition for many, many years. Every Sunday about an hour before sunset the beach comes alive. Hundreds of people join in a circle to create a local phenomenon. In this circle, you’ll hear the sound of bongos, maracas, harmonicas and drums, see people dancing to the flow of the music, observe children playing happily within the group and watch hula hoops and belly dancers sway to the beat of the drums. This is the best place in the sunshine state to take a swim in the ocean then dance in the sand. BYO chair, cold beverages, drums, shakers, etc. This is a free beach event & open to everyone.

This beach event in Sarasota is located on Siesta Key Beach and begins about an hour before sunset. The drum circle is created just south of the main pavilion between lifeguard stands 3 and 4. Bring your cooler with your favorite cold beverages and come join in the fun.

100’s of people attend this long running drum circle. A great group of drummers, and onlookers.
