but they are more a meditative, chanting, low key group – Ideal for beginners.

Our energetic group is the Flagler Beach Djembe Jammers! We meet twice weekly to

learn new beats, and to simply jam! Currently we meet Mondays at 6pm in the Senior

Services bldg corner of South 7th street and south Daytona avenue. Thursdays at 6pm

either at The Pavillion at Betty Steflik park, or Fuego Del Mar restaurant on A1A just

North of the pier. Summertime we drum once a week on the beach. Times and locations may

the Carousel. The park sits at the junction of US 1 and West San Carlos Ave and

on the East side the park borders A1A and the A1A junction for Vilano Beach.

There is also a coffee shop in town where you might meet other local drummers/musicians.
