Fiddler Crab Festival Steinhatchee, Florida

Steinhatchee fiddle crab festivalThe famous Fiddler Crab Festival is held each year in February. This event is BIG! With big entertainment, big shopping, big eats, big drinks and BIG FUN!  This is a weekend event with a ton of music lineups. Find treasures at the numerous arts & crafts booths. Get in on the poker run, Grab the family to watch the fireworks. Check out the amazing rides at the car & truck show. Indulge in your favorite beverage at the beer and wine garden. Test your skills at the fishing tournament. Look for familiar faces at the parade. Enjoy crab and many other local favorites at the food trucks. Take a river tour and more!

Big Bend Brew Fest Perry, Florida

big bend brewfestThis annual fundraising event is held by the Perry Rotary Club with proceeds to benefit the City of Perry Police Department’s Shop with a Cop Program, as well as the Rotary Club. Featuring a ton of beer, great food, and lots of music… The Annual Big Bend Brew Fest is a one day event and worth the drive!

The Big Bend Brew Festival is held every March at the Rosehead Park in Perry, Florida. Join us for unlimited tastings of over a hundred different types of beer by brewers from all over the Southeast United States. Although craft beer is the focus, many beer styles will be represented, including pale ales, IPAs, porters, stouts, wheats, ambers, and lagers. The standard admission ticket includes entry to the festival and unlimited beer tastings.

VIP Tickets and food are available for an additional charge. No person under 21 years old is allowed at the event and all persons attending must show valid ID at event entrance. This event typically sells out fast, so be sure to get your tickets well in advance.

Florida State Bluegrass & Chili Cook-off  Festival Perry, Florida

Florida State Bluegrass & Chili Cook-off  Festival Perry, FloridaThe Annual Florida State Bluegrass & Chili Cook-off Festival is an extremely popular event that attracts thousands of residents and visitors to the sunshine state each year. This event is held at the Forest Capital State Park in Perry, Florida the first weekend in April and worth the drive!

Expect some of the finest bluegrass music you’ll ever hear, as well as music workshops. The arts and crafts vendors also always please. Food trucks and the chili cook-off are amongst the most sought after part of the event. As well as the FREE Moon Pies! Bring your appetite and head on down to the Forest Capital State Park this year.

Smokin in the Pines BBQ Festival Perry, FloridaOne of the most popular BBQ festivals in the south is held annually in Taylor County, Florida! Smokin in the Pines BBQ Festival awards thousands of dollars in cash prizes over the weekend with competitions such as the; Open BBQ, Sauces of Honor, People’s Choice, and the Kidz-que Competition for ages 6-13. Visitors come from all over the sunshine state and beyond to sample some of the best pulled pork and barbecue that you will ever taste! Want to be a Judge? If you’re a judge in the People’s Choice Competition your taste buds will explode trying over 35 different tastes and flavors of the south.

This family event is located at the Forest Capital Park in Perry, Florida and worth the drive! There are plenty of things the whole family will enjoy including; arts & crafts vendors, an antique car show, kids play area, family activities and awesome entertainment. A mixture of southern rock and country music plays throughout the entire weekend featuring some of the most renowned blues artists. There is no fee to enter this annual event, however, if you want to sample BBQ and enter the People’s Choice, there is a small fee for those portions of the event. sips and sunsets Held each year in November. Join us for an evening of fun. Vendors, Wine, Craft Beer, Live Music and Amazing Food! Gates open at 11 AM, vendors close at 4 PM, live music continues until 8 PM.
