Established in January 2005 at its present location in Floral City, Florida, Touch of Glass by Susan has won several awards, including First Place at the Citrus County Fair in Inverness, Florida 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and in 2007 Best of Show at Arts De Fall in Hernando, Florida. Susan has been doing art with stained glass for since 1999 and is now teaching the locals and visitors of Floral City and the surrounding areas how to create their own stained glass masterpieces in her Floral City stained glass shop.

With over 10,000 square feet of stained glass readily available for purchase, Touch of Glass by Susan is a full service stained glass store and shop. We have everything you need to create your stained glass treasure. We also carry tools, machinery and anything else you can think of that has to do with your stained glass project. So, If it’s not here, I can special order it for you as well.

Our Citrus County showroom has “ready made” gift items & home decor

We carry EVERYTHING stained glass. From stained glass beads transformed into earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets to sun catchers, plates and bowls. Not to mention, home décor and stained glass church windows, Touch of Glass by Susan is here to assist you with all your stained glass projects and gift giving ideas. We even do custom orders and in-shop repairs.

Lessons are Available Weekly in Floral City, Florida!

Come and join me by taking lessons. Lessons are eight (8) consecutive lessons in which you work at your own pace. You will start off with something small and learn different techniques in the art of stained glass making as you progress. Materials are not included in these lessons, which you can purchased separately. Tools although, will provided for the first two lessons, but you will be required to start purchasing tools thereafter. Lessons are available Tuesday mornings from 10am – 12:30pm, Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:30pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am – 12:30pm.

Learn about Stained Glass

If you are interested in learning about stained glass, I host classes several times a week and teach numerous different methods. Our classes are fun for all ages, men and women as well as beginners to advanced crafters. You can also rent table space at Touch of Glass by Susan if you wish to continue practicing your art. Please call us for availability, classes fill up quickly!

Custom Designs and Projects

At Touch of Glass by Susan in Floral City, Florida, we love designing custom projects using photos of our pets or special memories. OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN GLASS ARTWORK AND DESIGN
For those that are already familiar with the art of stained glass, I do rent table space by the day or by the month. You can be in the shop any time the shop is open during the daytime hours to work on your project. (All machinery is available for use, with table space, as long as you have signed a waiver.) I have been taking lessons from Susan since April and fell in love with the art of Stained glass. I’ve learned so much from her in the 3 sessions I’ve taken and will continue to do so. Susan does beautiful work and has a delightful shop with gifts to buy, supplies, etc.

I have been going to Susan’s Stained Glass Shop ever since it opened in 2005. The shop has just about anything you need to do the art of stained glass. Every kind of glass imaginable. Susan is very understanding with us and is always ready to help with any problem. She can make (or repair) just about anything. I sometimes feel that she gets jobs for repair that no one else wants to deal with and just pitches in and repairs them. Always something new and exciting to do there. Her knowledge is truly a gift.
