Tacos Hooked Up Sportfishing has been fishing Ft. Lauderdale since 1969. If you’re looking to have a great time out on the water, you need to call us. We’re not one of those stuffy South Florida fishing charters – where the mate and captain are stuck on themselves and barely talk to you. We want you to party, relax, or whatever you’d like to do. Our job is to make your time on Hooked Up – the most enjoyable you can have while in Ft Lauderdale. We offer 4, 6 and 8 hour trips as well as shared fishing trips. All Day fishing trips depart at 7:00 or 8:00am and don’t return for 8 hours. Half Day fishing trips depart at 7:00 or 8:00am and return 4 hours later. You don’t have to be a seasoned angler either. We will show you and your guests/family how to work the sport fishing equipment. So there is no intimidation factor. We love helping people get into the sport of fishing! Let me also tell you I will assist you with locating hotels, restaurants, bars, boat rentals or whatever you’re interested in. I know the South Florida area, since I’ve lived here all my life. I can make sure you don’t go to the overpriced tourist traps. I will be your Fort Lauderdale connection! Located at the Bahia Mar Resort and Marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida we are minutes away from all the major hotels. Boca Raton is only a 30 minute drive and so is Miami. Our charter fishing is accessible and definitely worth the drive to Fort Lauderdale.

Captain Taco has been fishing the waters around Ft. Lauderdale and South Florida for over 30 years. Armed with old school knowledge, vast experience in Florida waters and cutting edge fishing techniques, the fish don’t stand a chance.

Throw in some laughs and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a great day out fishing in Ft. Lauderdale. The “Hooked Up” is a beautiful 45′ Hatterass fully air conditioned & refrigerated with 2 full restrooms a full galley, two state rooms and a full sized living room with 2 full swivel bucket chairs and a full L-shaped couch. It is powered by two 8-71 Detroit engines and a 9KW Onan Generator. Nice to get to the fishing grounds & back to the dock FAST!!

We are fully equipt with International Reels ranging from 20lb to 80 lb. reels. ALL of the rods are custom built by Captain Taco.
