Pet Photography

Tonda Cunningham, the owner of Smooch A Pooch has been grooming for over 19 years. Another passion for Tonda is photographing precious pets. She has been doing digital photography for over 17years and loves her work! She loves working with pets and making cute little dresses and halter vests for small dogs, which she sells in the gift boutique. We welcome you to come view our work along the walls of our pet grooming salon. You’ll quickly see the passion we have for photography, especially with pets. Our photography studio is not just for pets tho. We would love the opportunity to phtograph your entire family with your furry friends.

Gift Boutique

We have an awesome gift shop in our salon which has a little bit everything… for everyone. Although we have many pet related gifts, clothes, toys and accessories, this gift shop is not just for pets! We have crafts, gifts, and tons of unique treasures. Even if you don’t have a doggie, you’ll love shopping in our boutique! In the Future we plan to have a couple of outside play yards with toys and small pools where you will be able to bring your pet for a play day and day care with other pets and owners. We have a large room for daycare with a tv for playing dvd movies for the pets.

We have two Golden Retrievers and a Black Lab they love going for car rides and each has their own seat. Some how they know when they are going to visit their Tonda and Diane as when we pull into the driveway they get so excited, Tonda greets them with a warm smile on her face she shows then that she cares.
When we are asked who is our groomer we are proud to tell them SMOOCH-A-POOCH. Asthey are the best we have found in Citrus County.
Tonda and Diane will treat your kid’s like their own’ If you are looking for a good groomer you need not to look any father than (SMOOCH-A-POOCH) We highly recommend them thy show that they care and a fair price.

I have 2 white schnauzers and one is a “special needs” blind dog.

These are the reasons I go to Smooch a Pooch:

They bath them with special shampoo & conditioner for “white” dogs. The dogs come home CLEAN, soft and smell good.

My dogs are cut EXACTLY the way I want them to be done. They have a “summer cut” and a “winter cut” and Tonda performs each with perfection.

Tonda also will let me know if there are any health conditions to be aware of so I can take them to my vet.

Tonda is a great groomer. I have been coming to Smooch a Pooch for over 6 yrs and my dogs like going there.

Tonda and Diane are truly caring, wonderful people. I like them almost as much as I like dogs, cats and birds! Smooch a Pooch is reasonable in price but they always go the extra mile for the animals and their owners. My dearest pet, Jack, a 14 year old lab, was never boarded with anyone else after we met Tonda. We even got a rescue dog, a little terrier mix named Spankie, from Smooch a Pooch. Spankie has turned out to be a great dog and companion for us all.

I would recommend Smooch a Pooch to anyone with pets who have paws or feathers!

I take my boy and girl to see Tonda and Diane because my girl Dodie is skiddish and trusts Tonda like she does me, Baxter is more of a people dog, very friendly. They both come back very clean and cut extactly the way I want them. I have been going there for a lot of years and Tonda and Diane spoil them with love and I know when I drop them off they are safe with them. Puts my mind at ease. Tonda is very informative and Diane is just plain fun. If you are unhappy with your groomer try Smooch-A-Pooch!!!!!!

I take my 2 boys, Havanese and Shitzu, to Smooch a Pooch once a month. They jump out of the car to get in. They love going there. I love the way they come back with no tangles and cut the way I want.

Tonda and Diane are always professional, take good care of the boys and are always on time letting me know with a call they are ready.

I have tried a few others and at one they came back to me barreled out. All the hair was shaved from their bellies and the insides of their legs. I didn’t ask for that. Not what I want… ever. Another one cut the Shitzu’s eye lashed off. Really?! I’m sticking with Tonda and
diane.

They will accommodate schedule changes like when the
Havanese played in the mud.

Most of the things in the gift shop are very well made originals. I even got a large purse and Tonda embroidered a chocolate Havanese on to it. Looks just like him
