Schnapper’s Hots is located on Periwinkle in the heart of Sanibel Island. Bike, Walk or Drive to one of the best places to eat on Sanibel! Famous for their hot dogs, burgers, fries and shakes, this friendly and fun place is a great place to eat on the island. Although we are not a dine in restaurant, we have plenty of tables outside to enjoy your meal or ice cream. Did we mention that we have 48 flavors of ice cream? Or that we can make a shake out of any of the flavors?

Schnapper’s Hots opened in 1998, and draws its name from a Buffalo, New York legend know as “the Schnapper.” The Schnapper was a wonderful, friendly, fun loving guy. Although George, “the Schnapper” passed away, his memory is still alive at Schnapper’s Hots. Schnapper’s Hots is the kind of friendly and fun place that people enjoy visiting while experiencing the absolute best quality hotdogs, burgers, fries, onion rings, fish & chips, milkshakes, and hand dipped ice cream! We now feature 48 flavors of Big Olaf ice cream!

They are not kidding…. We had the best meal there and the folks were all super nice! We had burgers, fries, onion rings, grouper sandwich and chicken tenders, all were delicious! We even all four had milkshakes and floats too! Yummy!
