It is with shame for me to write this review as I am a person who tends to deal with things professionally and with a kind Soul. We moved into Douglas Estates going on to a year now in May and have unfortunately had so many bad experiences with Mrs. Mendoza. She is a very rude, incompetent and hostile woman when it comes down to speaking to residents regardless of the situation. Mrs. Mendoza doesn’t know how to communicate without her Attitude or short temper get in the way. I have asked her to please have someone else communicate to us in regard’s to any matter due to her way of speaking. She has repeatedly hung up calls on me or answered in a very rude way. If she is unhappy with the job she is holding I would recommend she find something she would be passionate of and not be so miserable. I find it very shameful for Rickert Properties to be Falsely promoting her on your page stating she is a “passionate advocate” “warm smile” “bilingual touch” “Effortlessly connects with our community.” I have met The other manager and she is the sweetest! Many of our Neighbors within this Family Community had the same issues with her so please explain to me how Mrs. Mendoza is any of the above descriptions? I hope that Rickert Properties takes matters to its hands!

Terrible place to work for

Abuse Abuse Abuse

Illegal activities going on in many of the parks.

Company does not care about seniors or in fact there tenants.

Bonuses taken away if you refuse to do something that is unprofessional

so company does not get a lawsuit.

no insurance provided only to upper management.

All these reviews are staged they get people to lie for them.

plenty of abuse towards property managers and women in general

especially when there is no one around to witness it.

If your thinking of buying or working at one there parks, walk around first and ask questions you might find out some outstanding suspicious things out about how this company does business.

Terrible company to work for, not sure why people lie for this company because there is a large amount of abuse towards people by the upper level management, in the office and toward women Managers, Just look around with in the past year there has been a total of 15 people that have left this company due to abuse and rejecting what the upper level management trying to push you to do illegally.

The one park in Sebring the co owner has had multiple affairs with a single property manager that everyone knows she has not been a loyal employee.
The owners take advantage of dedicated workers by forcing them into doing acts that are not professional just so they are not sued. Oh by the way did anyone notice how other mobile home parks gives bonuses and incentives well these owners use to but not anymore unless you submiss to there horrible commands.

Don’t buy here….Waden Shoes in Lake wales Fl….You get nothing but lies and the runaround. You will not get what you paid for…..7 months after new home bought from Jacobson and issues still remain—owner refusing to accept responsibility. There are many other parks…I suggest you go there….If you insist on buying here make sure you line up your own contractors..and have 100% contact with home builder during time home is built—trust no one…. if that’s not possible run dont walk away from here….Expect to pay full price for damaged merchandise. Prospectus not followed…….Time to seek legal advice…..

2/14/2020 My significant other called me and asked to assist him home as he became violently ill at the pier fishing. This was very unusual as he is very healthy..So I was very alarmed. I hurriedly drove to the peer jumped out …rapidly walking to the peer..where I notice the Friday night fire pit event and Nancy the manager yells out ‘Hi Jackie’, I mumbled a Hi as I had a lot on my mind. A resident made an inappropriate comment and Nancy ‘cackled ‘in her usual way. I guess they didn’t think I heard them. Then as I was physically assisting my significant other down the pier and into the golf cart, she had the nerve to come over as if she was concerned and asked if she could help. All I can say is may Karma bite you long and hard for laughing at someone experiencing a very stressful event and trying to help another. If anyone decides to move here realize what you’re getting yourself into–you’d be a fool to reside here.

Living in Pegel Point Estates is like living in a dream. Me and my wife sit out in lanai overlooking the waterways and serene landscaping. We couldn’t ask for a better community to call home.

My husband and I have called Whispering Pines our second home since 2015. We live here half the year and our other home is in Canada. We would never consider leaving our little piece of heaven. The weather is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate, the activities keep us busy and our neighbors have become some of our best friends.
