RENTAL HOUSE RATES:

$219 – $249 per night up to 4 people, plus $15 per additional person per night.
Friday and Saturday rental is now $249
$1399 per week up to 4 people, plus $15 per additional person per night.
Pet Friendly – Dogs under 20lbs, $50 per dog per stay. Over 20lbs is $100 per dog per stay.
Accidental damage insurance of $50
Cleaning costs if there are more than 8 customers will be $150

They have no natural predators and are curious, trusting animals
Adult Manatees are typically 10-12 feet long, and weigh up to 2,000 pounds
Some Manatees have been weighed in at 3,500 pounds
Manatees are the source of the mermaid legend
Manatees generally swim about 2-3 miles per hour, but can speed along at up to 25-30 miles per hour
Manatees and herbivores (vegetarians) and eat up to 10% of their body weight daily
WOW – Manatees life span can be as long as 50-60 years
Manatees generally breath every 3-5 minutes, but can stay submerged, when sleeping for up to 20 minutes
There are approximately 5,000 Florida Manatees in the wild today.
