Janet Erwin, owner of Central Florida Pet Crematory, has witnessed firsthand the need for having a choice and a dignified way of saying good-bye to their lifelong companions. Janet’s husband, Dr. Rick Erwin and daughter, Dr. Cara Oliver, both veterinarians at Belleview Veterinary Hospital have serviced the Belleview/Ocala area for over 35 years. Janet knew that she could assist their grieving clients in choosing an appropriate final disposition for their beloved pet.

Private and Communal Cremations

Central Florida Pet Crematory offers two types of cremations:

A private cremation is when the pet is cremated by itself and is placed into a decorative urn that is returned to the family so that they can ultimately decide on the final resting place.
A communal cremation is when a group of beloved pets are cremated together and their remains are then scattered on the grounds of a beautiful horse farm.

We at Central Florida Pet Crematory can help you decide which type is appropriate for you. We take into consideration your living situation, personal and religious values, as well as plans for the future. These all can help determine which type of cremation is the right choice for you and your family.

Laine Dorflinger here again………….having a hard time… Pugh came to live with me over 14 years ago, so I guess she is about 16 years old. Always hated being in the house no matter what I tried, but her body is done. Love this little girl.
When I worked in Ocala, I used my own time before work and on the weekends, and my own money to TNR 14 ferals, but this is my first.

My feral cat of 14 years who hate coming inside, but will stay inside rather than be taken away by an owl. She, Pugh as in Peppie Le Pew, is almost 16. Came to me as a feral but never left. I love this girl. She never grew more than 8 lbs, so I called her my piss and vinegar girl! It’s time for her to meet God. She can’t walk without a limb. Our every night walks are out in the last few weeks. Every morning’s feeding she sits on my lap outside by the door.

Tonight I saw a baby owl checking her out. NO, NO, NO. So I brought her into the house, which she hates, but will not have her hurt because she is so vulnerable. Hate the house? No baby owl will attack you.
Her body is ready to meet God. Monday morning I will have her sent to sit at the Throne, but want her cremated. What is your cost to have her cremated alone?
Just turned 71 yesterday. Live on SS alone. Can you help me?
