There are hundreds of Wildlife Rescue facilities within the sunshine state. Mainly because there are thousands of species living amongst us in the wild. Florida’s mammals include squirrels, bears, raccoons, otters, panther, bats, bobcats, beavers, armadillos, fox, rabbits, deer, and rodents. One of our most beloved mammals being the manatee. The Wildlife Rescue Centers in Florida are non profit and take in injured, unwanted & abused exotics, farm animals, birds and reptiles. The volunteers are passionate about the care and protection of Florida’s Native Wildlife. Protecting precious animals through rescue, rehabilitation, and education.
