The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare, in Florida, is available for anyone who is a US citizen and lives in the United States. You can not be incarcerated. To become eligible, you must also meet the following requirements: Individuals and families with incomes between 100 and 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and who qualify for Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTC), may qualify to enroll or change plans one time per month throughout the calendar year. Coverage should be effective the 1st of the month following the plan selection.
