Japanese food in Florida

Hibachi Grills, Sushi Rolls and Yum Yum Sauce

When you think of Japanese food there are numerous options that come to mind. From fast food Hibachi to Sushi bars and Japanese steakhouses, your dining choices are of plenty. Did you know? Hibachi is a type of cuisine that was first introduced to Japan during the Heian period. The word “hibachi” comes from Japanese meaning “fire bowl.” Hibachi grills are perfect for shish kabobs, larger cuts of meat, and ears of corn. They are easier to cook with because you can simply flip over a piece of chicken or lift a shish kabob with a pair of tongs right onto your plate. Whereas Teppanyaki typically cooks with a solid piece that can hold more than one cooking surface- usually for rice, noodles, or other small side dishes. Like you see at the restaurants. Having a chef cook right in front of you and your guests – tables normally seat 10 – is an experience unlike any other dining experience you’ll ever participate in. If you love the taste of Japanese cuisine, there are thousands of restaurants in the sunshine state top choose from.
