Ponce de Leon is a small town located in the Northwestern part of Florida. With under 500 residents living here and only a handful of businesses, this tight knit community boosts country charm. Within an hour you can be in Tallahassee, Panama City, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, or Destin. Whether you’re a local or just passing thru to visit the “Springs” at Ponce de Leon Springs State Park, you’ll love the clean air and rolling country roads. Holmes County is a great area to live with excellent schools and plenty of room to roam.

The entire county of Holmes is made up of less then 16,000 residents but Ponce De Leon is home to only a few hundred of them. There are a few churches in town to worship Jesus Christ and the locals here are not affraid to show it! When you get hungry, the few places to eat offer some of the best homemade southern meals you’ll ever sink your teeth in. So it’s easy to find a place to throw your line in. Hunting in the panhandle is a favorite as well with wild game such as deer, duck, and turkey in the plentiful. Cave diving is also a favorite amongst the locals and visitors. Vortex Springs and Morrison springs offer divers a place to see crystal clear water in the caves of North Florida.
