- 4th of July Celebration: The City of Tarpon Springs will present a Fourth of July Fireworks display just after sunset on Monday, July 4. The best viewing area will be Fred Howard Park located at 1700 Sunset Drive in Tarpon Springs. The park, beach and causeway will be open for parking to view this event. Parking is free after 6 p.m.. Parking is limited so come early and enjoy the display. After the park is full to capacity, the gates will be closed for safety. Please observe all of the county park rules and regulations. No alcoholic beverages and no personal fireworks are permitted in the park.

- 4th of July Celebration: Bring the whole family out for a July 4th Celebration Safety Harbor style. Celebrate America! will get underway at 10 a.m. on Main Street at Philippe Parkway and will end at the American Legion, 900 Main St. The parade is sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 238. To enter a float in the parade, call 727-726-9601. More than 40 participating organizations will take part in the parade, including several American Legion posts, Shriners, local businesses and organizations, along with antique and military vehicles, motorcycles, pipers, drummers, Santas and Star Wars stormtroopers. There will be a flyover by a U.S. Coast Guard airplane. The American Legion and Harbor Bar will be cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, French fries and more during the parade. The celebration will continue into the evening. There will be children’s activities, live entertainment and food vendors. The fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.

- Fireworks Across the Bay Celebration – St. Petersburg’s free Fourth of July fireworks event will go down at Spa Beach Park—located at 800 2nd Ave. NE—from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. with fireworks happening at 9 p.m. Admission is free, but there are private viewing tickets available, which include a private bar, primo seating for the fireworks and access to porta-potties. Also on site for the celebration are a craft beer garden, food trucks, local vendors, pop-up entertainers and a Guns N’ Roses tribute band. St. Petersburg Pier, 800 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg
ST. PETE BEACH
- Rock the Beach – St. Pete Beach will host its annual fireworks display Monday, July 4, beginning at 9 p.m. The display will be launched from Upham Beach, 6850 Beach Plaza, St. Pete Beach. The north portion of the beach will be closed for the day. Attendees should note only the two southernmost beach walkways and south portion of Upham Beach will be open on the day of the fireworks, so space is limited. No pets, bonfires, alcohol, or glass containers are allowed on the beach at any time. The city of St. Pete Beach will not be providing musical entertainment on July 4 but urges attendees to check with bars, hotels, and eating establishments directly to inquire about their live music schedule.
CLEARWATER
- Clearwater Celebrates America returns Monday, July 4, at BayCare Ballpark, 601 Old Coachman Road, Clearwater. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. and will conclude with a dazzling, music-choreographed fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. The annual fireworks display is temporarily relocating from its traditional venue at Coachman Park to BayCare Ballpark because of current Imagine Clearwater construction. Attendees can celebrate America’s birthday in style with the largest fireworks display in stadium history, a star-studded concert by the Black Honkeys Band and fun activities and giveaways for children of all ages. All-American culinary concessions, such as hamburgers, hot dogs and popcorn, will be available for purchase, as well as adult beverages.
DUNEDIN
- Kiwanis Midnight Run is being offered both live and virtually this year. The virtual component will run June 24 through July 2. - Let Freedom Ride will be presented Saturday, July 2, 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will celebrate the holiday weekend by going for a bicycle ride and showing their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white and blue. - The Pinellas Community Players will present a patriotic performance Saturday, July 2, 4 to 5:30 p.m., at John R. Lawrence Pioneer Park, 420 Main St., Dunedin. This is a true “community” ensemble that has steadily grown over the past few years since 2018, thanks to the dedication of advanced players willing to help and encourage others, as well as beginners willing to learn how to get better. - Patriotic Evening: Sunday, July 3, 2022 – 5:30 p.m. event starts – 9:15 p.m. fireworks. Patriotic Evening is Inverness’ brand of a Fourth of July celebration, held on July 3 each year. You can view the fireworks from two beautiful lakeside locations as well as other spots throughout town. The City of Inverness announces its annual fireworks show over Lake Henderson. The City’s lakefront parks are a great place to watch the fireworks display and support the local nonprofits at the event. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with vendors selling cold drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ and snow cones. Head to Liberty Park to enjoy live music performed by Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry with The Bearded Brothers starting as the opening act. The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 31st Annual Community 4th of July Fireworks! Bring your family and friends to the 31st Annual Siesta Key Community 4th of July Fireworks at Siesta Beach. Fireworks launch at dusk.
BRADENTON
- 4th of July Fireworks and Independence Day Buffet: Say “Happy Birthday America” at Pier 22! In a salute to the red, white, and starry blue, we get patriotic with Fireworks over the Manatee River and an Independence Day Buffet on Monday, July 4th on the waterside terrace. The party starts at 7 pm and ends with an explosive fireworks finale by Zambelli International around 9:30 p.m. Your party will keep your reserved table for the entire evening. Table reservations and tickets are required for access to the pier. Check-In: 6:30 pm – Independence Day Buffet: 7 – 10 pm, Includes an all-you-can-eat buffet and soft drinks., Alcoholic drinks may be purchased separately. – Fireworks Show: 9:30 pm
Parking: Complimentary valet parking. There are several road closures just before and during the fireworks show, so you will want to be sure to arrive early and certainly before 7:00 pm. Please expect a short wait for the valet. Additional parking is available throughout downtown, including the free garage.
VENICE
- July 4th fireworks: South Venice Jetty, Fireworks will be shot from the South Jetty on Monday, July 4, shortly after 9 p.m. to celebrate Independence Day. The free show will last an estimated 30 minutes. Although the South Jetty and Jetty Jacks Refreshment Deck will be closed for safety on the Fourth of July, the fireworks display may be viewed on area beaches from Caspersen to Nokomis, as well as from other locations around Venice. Arrive early to secure your spot. Boats should be at anchor by 8:15 p.m. July 4; the Venice Inlet will be closed to boat traffic at 8:30 p.m. until about 45 minutes after the display’s grand finale.
NORTH PORT
- North Port Freedom Festival: Ready for some fireworks? The City of North Port’s annual Freedom Festival, presented by American Irrigation, will kick-off at 5:00 p.m. on July 4, 2022 at CoolToday Park (18800 W Villages Parkway). This family-friendly signature event will include fun activities, great vendors, plenty of food options, and of course, fireworks. The City would like to thank our Sponsors and Community Partners for this event: American Irrigation, North Port Area Chamber of Commerce, Worksite, and WKDW 97.5 FM. – Available on the front event lawn of the stadium will be a Kids Fun Zone which will include a variety of free activities such as bounce houses, lawn games, music by DJ Jam All Day, and much more!
