Escambia County & Santa Rosa County – Pensacola
- 4th of July Fireworks by Sertoma – 9pm: The Sertoma Clubs’ annual event starts at 4:30pm with activities, vendors, contests and music, concluding with the highly anticipated fireworks show across an evening sky at Pensacola Bay. Come out with your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready for a fantastic fireworks show over the bay beginning at 9pm. Bring a radio and tune to Cat Country 98.7 for the special 4th of July music to accompany the fireworks! The best suggested viewing for the fireworks is along Bayfront Parkway. - Symphony, Sparks & Stars presented by Levin Papantonio’s Peter J. Mougey 6:00 – 9pm “An old fashioned way to spend time with family and celebrate our country.” The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra takes the stage for its fourth Independence Day performance. - Belmont-DeVilliers July Fourth Independence Day Festival 10am – 10pm: This festival includes a Street Fair, Live Music, Speakers and ends with a dance. Belmont and DeVilliers District will close the morning of the July 4th Festival. Special contests include The Watermelon, Hotdog and Cracker Eating Contest, The Potato Sack Relays, and the BBQ Cook-Off. Pensacola Beach Fireworks 8:30 PM Celebrate the holiday with fireworks on the sound side. The annual show will go off from just behind the boardwalk and is expected to draw a crowd, so arrive early. For boats, keep a general 250-foot distance from the floating barge releasing the fireworks; stay 700 feet out to completely avoid the fall-out zone. Milton
- July Fourth Riverfest in Milton 9AM – Midnight: Riverfest 2022 is an all-day affair in Historic Downtown Milton. The Fourth of July celebration begins in the morning with the 20th Annual Firecracker Motorcycle Show and The Freedom Car Show. The day continues with family-friendly events, including the Great Milltown Duck Race. Food, arts, crafts and retail vendors will also be open throughout the day. As the day winds down, the fireworks tend to draw a crowd. Parking will be available on Caroline Street and in the First Baptist Church lot. - Red, White, and Baytowne – Celebrate Independence Day at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, July 4 from 6-9 pm! After a day of fun in the sun, come out for an evening that lights up the sky! Enjoy kids’ activities on the lawn at 6 pm, live music on the Events Plaza Stage at 7 pm, and a patriotic fireworks display that will light up the night sky at 9:15 pm. Fort Walton Beach
- Okaloosa Island Pier Fireworks – Beat the crowd by going to the fireworks show at The Boardwalk. Fireworks will launch from the pier. Bring a lawn chair and avoid the crowd at the other crowded events. There’s plenty of room on the beach on Okaloosa Island. Fourth of July fireworks are only held at this location if the 4th falls on a Wednesday.
- Fort Walton Beach Landing – Admission is FREE. Enjoy musical entertainment, free inflatables for the kids, vendors, and concessions. Fireworks show starts at 8:45 PM. Take in the swirling aerials and majestic daisy chains as they light up the Gulf of Mexico at the landing in Fort Walton Beach.

Bay County – Panama City – Rosemary Beach – Panhandle 4th of July Events

- Star Spangled Spectacular July 4th – 9pm Panama City Beach celebrates the 4th of July with the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast as fireworks are fired from the identical City Pier and County Pier. Location: M.B. Miller County Pier

- Rosemary Beach Fourth of July Celebration – Start bright and early with our Bike Decorating Contest & Breakfast. (7:30 AM) followed by the Bike Parade throughout the Town Center (8:30 AM). Enjoy an old-fashioned family field day on Western Green with sack races, water balloon toss, games prizes and more (9:00 AM). - Firecracker 5K Race and 1-Mile Sparkler Run The Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend will join forces to host Tallahassee’s largest Independence Day kickoff event. Kick off your holiday with some family fun – not just a run! We’ve got a bouncy house, sno cones, face-painting. Fun, Fun, Fun!
- Firecracker 5K Race and 1-Mile Sparkler Run in Cascades Park: 6:30 a.m. registration, 7:30 a.m. 1-Mile Sparkler Run begins, 8 a.m. Firecracker 5K Race begins, 9 a.m. awards ceremony
- City of Tallahassee’s Celebrate America: Let your American spirit be moved this Fourth of July with the City of Tallahassee’s Celebrate America event. Taking place at Tom Brown Park on Monday, July 4, from 6-10 p.m., you and your family can enjoy live music and a spectacular, patriotic fireworks display. Taking the stage from 7:15-8:30 p.m. will be Sasha Tuck and the Capital Jazz Trio. There will be a short interlude while the stage is reset, and for the remainder of the event, the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will charm the crowd. As a prelude to the dazzling firework display, sponsored by the City’s Utilities, TSO will play the National Anthem at 9:45 p.m. and then accompany the fireworks, finishing with the 1812 Overture during the grand finale. There will be food truck and activities for children at the event. Attendees are also welcome to pack a picnic. Beer will be available for sale to those 21 and older with a valid ID. Parking will be available within the park. Handicap parking has been moved closer this year, so check with a parking attendant upon arrival for assistance. Shuttle bus service will offered this year.
- Spectacle by the Sea St George Island: Whether you want music and drinks on the deck or a stroll on the beach to find the perfect spot for the fireworks display, St. George Island is a small place ready for a big celebration.

- Celebrate in Sopchoppy: This annual event began in 1973 when “Mr. Sopchoppy” and a group of his friends organized the first event. Every year since, the community has joined together and established our region’s best Independence Day Celebration. Our celebration kicks off in the morning with the Bill Stephens Americana Parade in downtown Sopchoppy. After the parade, the day continues on the bank of the pristine Sopchoppy River at Myron B. Hodge City Park . There you will enjoy mighty fine music performers and other entertainment, arts, crafts and food vendors, exhibits and kid’s booths. As the sun sets and the moon rises, our celebration concludes with our “must see” fireworks display that fills the sky and the river reflects. We welcome you to join us in Sopchoppy where we all celebrate our independence.
